Pepita knitted purse by Önling, knitting pattern

This small, cute purse can be used as a make-up bag or for knitting gadgets or as a purse! We love the slip stitches, and here you get plenty of opportunity to practice the technique.

We knit the classic Pepita pattern, stemming from the Spanish dancer Pepita, who reportedly loved the traditionel black/white checkered pattern. Since the 1950's, the Pepita pattern has been a classic, and has often been used in will. The clutch is worked in our soft and 100% sustainable merino wool, Önling No 2.

Pattern was a part of Önling Advent Calendar 2019.
