Comyn Clan Crest Mug – Scottish Heritage

The Comyn Clan Crest Mug puts the Comyn name in your hands every morning, with the family crest set on a tartan background and glazed onto a sturdy ceramic mug made for everyday coffee and tea.

The Comyns were once the most powerful family in Scotland — Lords of Badenoch and Earls of Buchan in the thirteenth century, with a reach few could match. Their fortunes turned when John "the Red" Comyn was killed by Robert the Bruce at Dumfries in 1306, but the name endures, closely tied to the Cumming families who descend from the same stock.
